Keep local recording and cloud traffic separate
YQ-1x is the active-safety product family used here for connected multi-camera recording and evidence review. Full-quality local recording normally runs above 5 Mb/s. The separate stream optimized for 4G cloud upload typically uses only 512 Kb/s to 1 Mb/s while preserving the required image resolution.
Generate event evidence separately
Daily loop recording may use one-, three- or five-minute files, but most of each file is irrelevant to one event. YQAuto can generate a dedicated clip around the event, with up to ten seconds before and ten seconds after it. This preserves useful evidence while reducing upload traffic.
Use fleet-scale data purchasing
YQAuto applies for more than 100,000 SIM cards a year and can offer lower-cost data plans to small and medium buyers. One current Malaysia reference is USD 0.9 per GB.
Measure during the pilot
Define channels, local retention, event types, clip length, live-view frequency and user roles. Measure real network behaviour before production so the data plan follows the operation rather than a generic allowance.
