Three systems, three risk surfaces
ADAS monitors the road ahead, DMS watches driver fatigue and distraction, and BSD covers blind zones beside the vehicle. The package must be chosen around the operating risk, not an acronym checklist.
Why radar changes the warning window
Millimetre-wave radar does more than cover conditions where a camera sees poorly. It extends effective ADAS warning distance from about 30 metres to 150 metres. For heavy trucks, loaded mining vehicles and dump trucks, 30 metres may not provide enough reaction and braking distance, especially at night or in difficult weather. Radar-camera fusion gives the driver and operating system a materially earlier warning window.
YQ-1x as the active-safety layer
YQ-10, YQ-11 and YQ-12 support three to eight waterproof cameras, ADAS, DMS, BSD and radar options, with 4G, GNSS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, serial interfaces and Ethernet.
Define the events, thresholds, in-cab warning, escalation path and false-alert review before rollout, then validate the complete human response on the target vehicle.
