Start with the cost of the current risk
Record collision frequency, claim value, vehicle downtime, cargo loss, evidence-handling time and the cost of unsafe driving events. These figures create the baseline.
Connect each capability to a result
ADAS and radar extend the forward-warning window. DMS addresses fatigue and distraction. BSD covers side blind zones. Video and platform events reduce the time required to reconstruct an incident and resolve an insurance dispute.
Include deployment cost honestly
Count devices, cameras, installation, mobile data, platform operations, training and support. Offset these costs with fewer or less severe incidents, faster claims, lower manual review and improved vehicle availability.
Pilot before projecting
Measure alert volume, confirmed risk events, driver response, false alerts and evidence retrieval on a representative group. Use the observed results to build the fleet-wide investment case.
