Use the cloud for fleet-wide work
The cloud is suited to vehicle status, route history, alarm aggregation, evidence review, reports, user roles and remote operations. It connects single-vehicle events to fleet management.
Design one event pipeline
Define which event is detected at the edge, what short clip is generated, what metadata is uploaded and who reviews it. Keep full continuous video locally and send operationally valuable events to the platform.
Validate both halves
The sample test must prove the in-cab warning and the management-side event together: correct trigger, timestamp, vehicle, camera, clip, user access and response workflow.
