Commercial Terms & Support
Direct answers from first selection through integration, production and after-sales.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is 1–2 units for samples and 200+ units for mass production. Samples let you validate fit and workflow before committing; production quantity is confirmed per product and project in the quotation.
How long is the lead time for samples and production?
Samples ship within 5 days and mass production runs 35–50 days, with an average lead time around 35 days shown on our Alibaba profile. Exact dates depend on customization depth, quantity and certification, and are confirmed in the contract.
How do I order a sample and what does sample validation cover?
You can order 1–2 sample units, which ship within 5 days for testing on your real vehicle and workflow. Sample validation covers vehicle fit, camera views, day/night video, network, GPS, storage, optional AI and platform flow, with a test report and video before spec confirmation. For safety scenarios like mining and construction we also define warning events, false-alert review and operator response before testing, then confirm the sealed sample and specifications.
How deep can customization go, and how does it affect cost?
Customization runs in three tiers: light (labels, manuals, packaging, laser-engraved logo), medium (tooling, harness, accessories, boot screen, pre-installed apps, platform integration) and deep (PCBA, software features, algorithm development). Deeper tiers add engineering scope and are quoted per product.
What cooperation modes do you offer — OEM, Design or Buyer Label?
We offer three cooperation modes: OEM Service (build to your product definition), Design Service (joint hardware/software/appearance design) and Buyer Label (your brand on our proven devices). The right mode is chosen at project intake based on your target market and volume.
What is the warranty and after-sales policy?
We provide an 18-month extended warranty with an extra 1% spare parts, and replace-not-repair within the warranty period. OTA online upgrades and remote handling support cut downtime, and after-sales terms are confirmed per project.
What is the procurement process from enquiry to mass production?
The process runs from project intake, Buyer Label or design, candidate configuration and quote, sample validation and sealed specification through contract, payment and production planning, quality control, shipment acceptance, then warranty and support. Each of the ten stages produces a reviewable handoff.
How is pricing quoted?
Each product is quoted individually based on configuration, cooperation mode, customization tier and quantity. Send your vehicles, channels, target market and volume in the enquiry and we return a candidate device combination with a matching quote.
Which payment methods and trade terms do you accept?
We accept T/T, Western Union and Cash, settled in USD, with trade terms including FOB, EXW, CIP, DDP and DDU shipped from Shenzhen or Hong Kong ports. Final payment and delivery terms are set in the quotation and contract.
Can you support large-volume orders and consistent supply?
Yes — with R&D in Shenzhen and manufacturing in Dongguan, capacity reaches up to 100,000 units per month. Supply consistency is backed by 100% incoming-material inspection, MES warehouse management, QR-code component traceability, in-house reliability testing and 100% OQC outgoing inspection.
Can the devices connect to our own fleet management or dispatch platform?
Yes. Across truck/logistics, police/municipal and construction/mining deployments we deliver deep custom hardware and software that integrates with the client's own platform. Integration is done over JT/T 808 & 1078 or an agreed interface, with local database deployment or private-platform integration supported; the target platform, data direction and authentication are confirmed per project.
Do YQAuto devices support the JT/T 808 and JT/T 1078 protocols?
Yes. All YQ networked products support JT/T 808 for GPS/telematics reporting and JT/T 1078 for video streaming, so devices can report location, trips, alarms and live/replay video to a compliant, third-party or regulatory platform. Stream channels, bandwidth and upload policy are planned per device, and exact message coverage and platform endpoint are confirmed per project during sample validation.
Do you provide an open API or SDK for system integrators?
Integration requirements are reviewed per project. Submit your integration use case, data direction (device-to-platform or platform-to-platform) and authentication requirement, and the available interface scope is confirmed per project. We support local database deployment and integration with a client's private platform.
What cloud deployment options are available, and can data be kept in-country for data residency?
Three options are supported: local (on-premise) database deployment, a regional site on AWS or Alibaba Cloud in the destination country, or integration with the client's private platform — all of which support data residency. The hosting region, retention period, access roles and hosting model are defined under destination-market rules and confirmed per project.
How do we start a platform integration and what should we submit?
Submit the integration use case, the data direction and volume (location, alarms, live video, replay), the protocol you expect (JT/T 808 & 1078 or your interface) and the authentication requirement. YQAuto then confirms interface scope, a sample device for validation and the delivery plan per project.
What are the platform fees, SLA and account roles for integration?
The AI-Dashcam app and Fleetgoo platform are available, and account roles, data plan, SLA and fees are confirmed per project rather than a fixed subscription price. Share your fleet size, region and integration scope in the enquiry and pricing is quoted per project.
How are devices onboarded and managed after deployment?
Devices are configured with an on-site parameter tool and support OTA online upgrade and remote handling, so a fleet can be provisioned and maintained after integration. Bulk onboarding, roles and remote-management scope on the target platform are confirmed per project.
Which international certifications do YQAuto's in-vehicle devices currently hold?
The dashcam product family currently holds three certificates on file: CE-RED (radio equipment directive), CE-EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and ROHS (restriction of hazardous substances). KC (Korea) is expected in Q1 2027 and the submitted SIRIM (Malaysia) application is expected in Q1 2027. The exact certifications for each product and destination market are confirmed before shipment.
How is product compliance confirmed before exporting to a specific market?
We collect the destination market's certification, privacy, installation, radio and communication requirements at the enquiry stage, confirm compliance per product and market, and complete certification confirmation before shipment. CE-RED, CE-EMC and ROHS certificates are on file, with KC expected in Q1 2027 and the submitted SIRIM application expected in Q1 2027; other certifications can be pursued in cooperation with the client.
How are in-cabin cameras and driver privacy handled for compliance, such as GDPR?
Camera purpose, access roles, data retention, export and driver notice are defined according to the destination market's privacy requirements and must pass sample acceptance. Deployment supports local database hosting, AWS / AliCloud regional sites, or integration with the client's private platform to align with local data compliance; the exact compliance scope is confirmed per project and before shipment.
